NOC Not Received

The borrower has repaid the loan, but the lender has not issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) or closure letter.

Loan Closure

Required documents

  • Final payment receipt
  • Loan account closure request or application
  • Bank statement showing the settlement
  • Any email/SMS confirming final payment

Contact order

  1. Customer Support
  2. Grievance Officer
  3. Nodal Officer
  4. External Ombudsman if needed

Timeline

  • Initial acknowledgement: 3–5 business days
  • NOC issuance: 10–15 business days
  • Follow-up after 2 weeks if pending

Escalation path

  • Ask customer support for a provisional statement while NOC is prepared
  • Escalate to grievance officer if no letter in 15 days
  • Request the nodal officer’s intervention after 20 days
  • File a complaint with the banking ombudsman if issuance is not completed in 30 days
