Contact order

  1. Lender Customer Support
  2. Grievance Officer
  3. Nodal Officer
  4. Banking Ombudsman / Police

Timeline

  • Acknowledgement: 2–5 business days
  • Resolution: 7–14 days
  • Legal action if harassment continues: 15–30 days

Escalation path

  • Send a written complaint to the lender’s grievance desk immediately
  • Request suspension of recovery agent contact until the issue is investigated
  • Escalate to the nodal officer if the harassment continues
  • File with the banking ombudsman or local police if threats or illegal behavior persist
