Timeline
- • Acknowledgement: 2–5 business days
- • Resolution: 7–14 days
- • Legal action if harassment continues: 15–30 days
Escalation path
- • Send a written complaint to the lender’s grievance desk immediately
- • Request suspension of recovery agent contact until the issue is investigated
- • Escalate to the nodal officer if the harassment continues
- • File with the banking ombudsman or local police if threats or illegal behavior persist
